Here is the gospel truth: even though we are rebels, God, in His great love and mercy, has provided a Savior so that we can be reconciled with Him. God sent His Son, Jesus Christ (Himself fully God), to be born as a man and live a sinless life so that He could be the perfect sacrifice for sin. Willingly dying on the cross, He took on Himself the penalty for our sins. Three days later, He rose from the grave (conquering death itself) and ascended into heaven with the promise of a future return to judge the living and the dead.

God has graciously provided the way to be reconciled to Him. Only Jesus can pardon you and give you a new heart from God and eternal life with God.
